Hi! I’m Myshell (they/she). I help people uncover unprocessed trauma and reclaim their power.

Did something happen to you that keeps affecting you in harmful ways?

I want you to feel nourished and held.

Healing isn’t meant to happen alone—we need each other.

Tiffany says …

“When my partner cheated on me, my world turned upside down. I felt lost, unworthy, and unsure of how to move forward. Myshell created a space where I could process my pain without shame, helping me reconnect with my own strength and clarity. Their guidance allowed me to navigate the betrayal with self-compassion, set boundaries that honored my needs, and begin rebuilding trust in myself. I’m walking away from this experience feeling more grounded and with clear core values that I can take into my next relationship.”

Do you keep having the same argument in your relationship? Do you ever feel like you're reacting, rather than responding, to the people around you?

At Inside My Shell, I believe the key to healthier relationships starts with understanding the deeper parts of yourself—the parts that often remain hidden behind the "shell" you show the world. This shell is the mask you've been conditioned to wear to protect yourself, fit in, and navigate through life. Over time, though, it can disconnect you from your true self, making it harder to connect with others authentically.

Through trauma-informed coaching, Internal Family Systems (IFS) Parts Work, and Somatics, I will help you uncover the layers of your shell and explore the different parts of you that may be holding you back. By understanding these parts, I’ll guide you toward creating more genuine connections and healthier relationships with yourself and others.

Are you ready to peek inside of your shell and get to know your true self? Let’s begin this transformative journey together.

Trauma coach seeking to hold you as you process

whatever is necessary to

become your best self.

Meet Myshell

Myshell Curry is a Black, queer multidisciplinary artist, designer, facilitator, and healer who coaches individuals and couples on transformative journeys of self-liberation. Drawing on a rich background in dance, acting, facilitation, and activism, Myshell brings a unique, trauma-informed, and somatic approach to every session, helping clients navigate their personal growth, relationships, and healing paths with authenticity and radical care.

With deep roots in a Gullah-Geechee paternal line from Savannah, Georgia, and a root-working maternal line from Lafayette, Louisiana, Myshell’s practice is shaped by ancestral knowledge and intuitive wisdom. They have a remarkable ability to hold an empathic container for their clients’ journeys, guiding them through the complexities of self-discovery and healing.

Living with a chronic illness that has no cure, Myshell’s personal experience of disability informs their work, allowing them to meet clients with deep compassion and understanding. They view healing as a shared, continuous process — one that they embark on alongside their clients, fostering a dynamic connection that supports both individual and collective growth and transformation.

Myshell’s background in organizing and activism includes working with movements and organizations such as Black Lives Matter (Los Angeles), Into Action, Dignity & Power Now, Recharge Teens, and We Rise. They have spoken on topics such as art and disability, grief, joy, and mental health. Their sold-out workshops, like Healing Through Hip-Hop at the California African American Museum, have empowered diverse communities to explore the intersection of culture, art, and wellness.

With a degree in Africana Studies and a minor in Theatre Performance, along with film studies at Chapman University, Myshell’s intellectual and artistic pursuits are deeply rooted in a commitment to anti-capitalist, anti-racist, and intersectional feminist values. They are certified by the Global Trauma Institute and hold a Diploma of Professional Study from Jan Haldane Holistic Practice Training, accredited by the Complementary Therapists Accredited Association. Combining formal education with ancestral wisdom, Myshell takes a holistic, embodied approach to coaching—one that fosters healing, transformation, and the profound pleasure of living authentically.
